It comes as no surprise, yet it still bears repeating: a vast majority of workers hate wasting food, according to a Sociovision survey for Elior Group.

Growing, raising, harvesting, producing, buying, cooking, serving, ordering too much all contribute to food wastage, a scourge that's everywhere from catering to retail, from farming to food processing, and at home. It looks like no one likes throwing away or wasting food, so it's a good thing there are multiple alternative solutions: doggy bags to take the leftovers home, donations of unsold products to charities, geolocalization of soon-to-be-expired products through an app, recycling of used cooking oils into biofuel…
